Reconciliation
Estrangement healed: God and humanity made friends again through Christ
Reconciliation is the restoration of friendship between God and humanity through Christ. Passages such as 2 Corinthians 5 and Romans 5 speak of God reconciling the world to himself and entrusting believers with a ministry of reconciliation. Where sin had set humanity at a distance, Christ's work bridges the breach, turning estrangement into renewed relationship and peace with God.
