Grace / Revealing (Anugraha)

The unveiling — consciousness lifting its own veil, and the forgetful self waking to find it was Śiva all along.

Anugraha is the act of grace — the divine consciousness lifting its own veil and disclosing its true nature, so that the small, forgetful self awakens to its own infinity. Where concealment hides the divine from itself, grace is its self-disclosure. It is the crown of the five acts and the one that liberates: not a reward earned by effort but consciousness freely revealing itself. The descent of this grace (śaktipāta) is, for Kashmir Shaivism, the true beginning of the path.
