Tattva 8 — Limited Knowledge (Vidyā)
The second cloak: boundless knowing narrowed to 'I know only so much.'
Vidyā, as a cloak, is the contraction of all-knowing into limited knowing. Where Śiva-consciousness knows everything, the bound self knows only a little, a few things at a time. This is the seed of 'I know only so much' — the divine omniscience narrowed to the finite, partial knowledge that any individual mind can hold.
