Mitzvot Sichliyot vs Shimiyot (Rational vs Revealed)
Some of Judaism's commandments — don't murder, don't steal — feel like things any thinking person could reason out (the "rational" commands, sichliyot). Others — the laws of kosher, or not mixing wool and linen — you'd never reason your way to; you know them only because they were revealed (the "revealed" commands, shimiyot). Saadia, Rambam (Maimonides), and Albo each drew this line, and argued about what it means.
