Zabala

A Sumerian city sacred to the goddess Inanna (modern Tell Ibzeikh, southern Iraq), about 10 km northwest of Umma. Kings of Akkad, Larsa and Babylon, including Hammurabi, rebuilt or endowed its Inanna temple. The pin marks the findspot.
