Christ the Mediator
Between God and humanity stands one bridge — and he is also one of the two shores
Christ the Mediator is the conviction that one figure reconciles God and humanity in his own person and work. Because he is understood to share fully in both the divine and the human, he can join the two sides as no one else can. The phrase "one mediator between God and men" from 1 Timothy 2:5 anchors this hope of a restored relationship accomplished through Christ.
