The Great-Lord-of-Mantra Perceiver (Mantra-Maheśvara)
Just short of Śiva — the whole world held faintly within an overwhelming 'I.'
The mantra-maheśvara, 'Great Lord of Mantra,' is the loftiest perceiver short of Śiva, at the Sadāśiva level where manifestation first faintly dawns. Here the whole world is present, but enfolded within an overwhelming 'I' — the manifold experienced entirely within unity, like a barely-formed image still held in the mind that imagines it. It is the subtlest of the four liberated grades, on the verge of pure non-dual Śiva.
