The Śiva-Perceiver (Śiva-Pramātṛ)

The summit: pure non-dual awareness for whom self and world, and all beings, are one single light.

The śiva-pramātṛ is the supreme experiencer, the very crown of the seven: pure, absolutely non-dual awareness, for whom there is no division at all between self and world. Every being, every state, every object has for this perceiver one and the same nature — the single light of consciousness. Transcending the universe and yet being it, this is the perspective of complete awakening, in which the whole descent of the tattvas is known as nothing but one's own self at play. It is the goal toward which all the lower perceivers point.
