The mantreśvara, 'Lord of Mantra,' is a higher liberated perceiver at the Īśvara level of manifestation. For this subject, self and world — the 'I' and the 'this' — stand in perfect equilibrium, inner and outer answering one another like a thing and its reflection, with neither side outweighing the other. The world is wholly present, balanced in luminous poise with the awareness that knows it.
